Dolls From Heaven just debuted their newest saint doll, Mary of Nazareth, otherwise known as the Virgin Mary or the Blessed Mother. From their website, “Mary is a humble, prayerful, kind girl who accepted the will of God and became the Mother of Jesus. She has dark brown eyes that open and close, and straight medium-length brown hair. She comes dressed in a simple blue pleated dress with a white veil and brown sandals and the paperback “She is Mary” book.”
In addition to the dressed doll, a second outfit was produced for Mary inspired by Our Lady of Fatima. That outfit is seen on the right in the photo above. It features a “white gown with gold embroidery and star, white floor-length veil with gold trim, and the paperback, “Our Lady of Fatima” based on the miraculous apparition of our Our Lady to the three shepherd children.” I really like the Our Lady of Fatima outfit, especially the long veil and rosary.
I personally think the face mold on Mary is very pretty. I love the closed mouth smile and round cheeks. Her long, straight hair is simple and fits her inspiration well. Mary is definitely on my list of possible dolls to add to my collection!
My mom reviewed St. Therese from the Dolls from Heaven line last September. The video review is above. Check it out if you missed it! What do you think of Dolls From Heaven’s newest saint doll, Mary of Nazareth? Share your thoughts in the comment area!
