In 1995, Skipper received a new face mold. Drastically different from the large anime eyes of the late 80’s and early 90’s, this new mold looked more mature with a longer face and smaller features. Also getting a make over was Skipper’s best friend, Courtney. This look debuted in the Pizza Party line, which featured Skipper, Courtney and Kevin. This set was branded with the Pizza Hut logo, a popular pizza restaurant.

Pizza Hut Play Set
Each doll came with a large number of accessories, including pizza slices, pizza boxes, subs and other fun pizza themed items. These accessories came in handy when furnishing the Pizza Hut play set, also sold under the Pizza Party line.
Skipper’s New Face Mold
I was lucky enough to get this set on eBay in one lot for a great price. The play set is simple, but super effective for easy, imaginative play or photography! (And because it comes in three pieces, it took less than ten minutes to put together!)

This is one of my favorite Courtney’s made with this face mold. Also, Skipper and Kevin look so cute together decked out in their Pizza Hut gear! This is one doll line where all the elements came together to create something fantastic.
